Young Adult Planning

This means your parents no longer have the authority to make decisions regarding your medical care nor will they have access to your finances if something happens to you. Everyone should have, at the very minimum, a living will, a medical power of attorney, a durable financial power of attorney, and a HIPAA release form, that allows loved ones to know what you want when you are unable to do so.
